Is Jynx worth powering up?

I have a level 40 100% Jynx that I lvled to trio Rayquaza with my friends.

With that being said no I would wait till Gen 4 because we are going to get some good Ice types.

I'd power up the jynx, its great ice DPS, highest ice DPS actually, while mamoswine and others will outclass it, those wont be until gen IV drops, which could very likely be anywhere from 2-5 months, that and its not like jynxs will become weaker, it can be a good holdover until you get those great gen IV ice types (not to mention any TM's you may need for them). Lapras is also geared more towards defense and survivability, if rayqyaza comes back you'll want to output as much damage as possible as fast as possible, not really tanking them out

I don't think it's worthwile to power up a lvl 15 Jynx, since you have two high Lapras already and Walrein and Cloyster are easy to come by in many locations.

It's probably not worth it right now to power up a Jynx - there really aren't any Raid Bosses that have enough of a Weakness to Ice that a Jynx becomes worthwhile. And your Lapras are good enough for clearing Dragonites and Salamences from Gyms, which is one of the only real uses for a Jynx right now.

Nice to have a 93%/Attk 15 Jynx, tho - I've got a bunch of 93-98, but all are Attack 14. Would love to have that particular conundrum.
