It will be good against dragonite because even though confusion only does neutral damage against dragonite, it makes up for it with its high damage and STAB, and avalanche is a pretty strong ice move that will make quick work of any dragonite, but any great attacking golems or Rydons with rock moves should just as good or better, but the best counter is a non-dragon type that can learn dragon moves. IE. Gyrados with DT/O
Hi,
i got a Confusion / Avalanche Jynx. This is good against Dragonite?

Even tho Nate1344 is my brother I am going to have to disagree... stay with me, So as everyone knows Confusion has a very long CD making it hard to dodge and with how weak jynx is I would not recomend using a Confusion jynx but a FB/IP would work just as well or in this case better also just spamming FB works really we even before jynx got a buff I used a ~1500 jynx and took down 80% of a 2900+ dragonite (only spaming FB)
Sorry, but all the replies are wrong. Jynx with Confusion/Avalanche or Frost Breath/Avalanche is much better than with Frost Breath/Ice Punch (which is a legacy moveset) and with these movesets Jynx takes down a Dragonite faster than any other Pokemon does. And you don't need to dodge all moves, just the special move. The other two great Dragonite killers are Lapras (with Frost Breath/Ice Beam or Frost Breath/Blizzard) and (using a dodge all strategy) Dragonite itself (with Dragon Tail/Outrage or Dragon Breath/Dragon Claw). There are other very good choices (e.g., Cloyster and Piloswine), but these three are the best.
