Suppose I transfer a shiny Kanto Pokemon to my Let's Go, when it arrives will it still be shiny?

It will be shiny, I've done it myself.

Hmmm, I was just about to ask whether normal Pokemon transferred to Let’s Go could become shinies.

Most likely: no.

I'm pretty sure the only things that can vary (and be soft reset) are the speed stat and the nature.
