Just hatched 12 2k eggs here's what I got
Yeah not super impressed.. considering the amount of candy I got seemed prolly much normal ranging from 8-12 candies

Egg results are determined upon egg collection.
You just basically get a random pokemon rewarded to your inventory from spinning a stop, and its hidden behind the egg tier and hatching system. Its already determined at the exact time of spinning/receiving.
Eggs collected before the event went live could not have been the new pokemon that are now available from 2km eggs.
Because those eggs/pokemon were already randomly rolled and selected from the entire pokemon egg pool at the time you spun them
TLDR - unless you did some crazy amount of walking...hatching, egg collecting, followed by more walking, all since the event went live. I would assume that at least some of these eggs are old/pre event.
I dont doubt these have all been hatched post event sir.
My point is were they all collected before or after the event? thats the key factor that matters.
The screenshot doesnt show anything related to this/when you got the eggs, only that you incubated and hatched them afterwards.
the individual egg pages with the time off collection would tell you.
Nevertheless...keep going and hope for something good!
At this point it all depends on if the rarer 10km hatches that are now in 2km have had their drop rates increased also, otherwise they are just as rare as before...now just requiring alittle less walking to hatch
Im not doubting what you say,
even though i suspected thats how i would come across...i am just trying to be as accurate and sure as possible and rule everything out.
And make sure everyone else is not missing something important such as time of collection then being disappointed with the results based on incorrect results.
Overall the egg system is not very clear and some people still dont fully understand how it works etc with all the tiers and individual drop chances and stuff.

No need to get defensive. Was just curious because magikarps no longer hatch from eggs. You said you hatched 12 2Ks eggs and screen shot a picture of 12 mons, that I assumed meant were the 12 ones you hatched. So, u post a screen shot of your journal but it doesn't show that the magikarp (19 CP) and the 248 eevee were actually hatched. So,was just confused. Not that I didn't believe you.
I would be happy with a Tyrogue and even Stantler b/c rare for me. I would even like the eevee and bulb, b/c I don't get high IV eevees and bulbs. Congrats. Keep us posted on what else you hatch. Heard Larvitar and Lapras were hatched from 2Ks today.
