Jolteon and Flareon solo raids

Before we had Groudon and Kyogre, it was almost impossible to solo Jolteon and Flareon. Would it be much easier if they are raid bosses today?

Jolteon was not almost impossible but actually impossible, no one ever pulled it off and sims said it couldn't be done.

Flareon would be easier than Ninetails with Garys (deals more consistent damage so better energy generation) and trivial with Kyogres. Jolteon would be doable with Groudons, maybe Mewtwos and with weather probably Dragonites too.

Jolteon would have only been possible at the time by spoofers who had a lineup of 6 maxed MewTwo. And even that would have required luck.

PokeBattler.com/raids still has the legacy raids available for simulation.

Groudon would definitely work against Jolteon. And there are several weather boosted attackers that could stand a decent chance.

Side note: Is there any T4 raid boss "soloable", with or without weather boosting?

Not that I know of. Tier 4 bosses can be duo'd by two trainers with the right counters at high enough levels, but I don't think soloing any tier 4s is possible, due to not being able to output enough damage before running out of time.

I took an absol down to just barely red with my champ lineup in cloudy weather. I believe even if they were all 100% you would still be just short.

Can a full team of high level Mewtwo with Confusion/Psychic take down a Nidoqueen during windy day ?

Dunno answer, but Nidoking is easier due to lower defence than Nidoqueen

Pokebattler says about 260 secs to beat, so no.
But, Acid/LB Wectreebel vs. Con/Psy M2 at windy is "only" 226 secs and Snarl/Megahorn Absol vs. Machamp with C/DP takes 211 secs according to pokebattler and it sound very close to timelimit. If game will be on your side (this means no charged attacks from Absol during the battle), which simetimes occurs, I mean it is beatable in limit. Another thing is, if you didn't receive charged attack, that "only" 6 maxed 100% machamps needed to win (no extra switching time). This all is only theory, of course. ;-)

No, Absol is by far the easiest T4 we have ever had and it is not possible. A maxed perfect lineup of champs in cloudy weather cannot do it. However it is close enough that if a second person using 6 hatched hitmons could probably finish it together.

All the T4’s can be beaten by 2 people. However, Some, like Aggron are pretty much up to luck even with perfect counters.

Checking on pokebattler, jolteon is barely possible in neutral weather, that's how bad earthquake is. Clear weather on the other hand, Even rhydon is good enough

On one hand, since those eevee evolutions were bosses, we now have stronger possible counters.

On the other hand, I would prefer to see one or two current L4 bosses even marginally possible.

Team raids are fine and all, but those unable to team, should have a chance at any boss if they are willing to commit the time and resources.

All of the current T3 and lower are soloable, if there were anything worthwhile for collecting...

I already have several Machamp powered up, so currently sun-boosted Piloswine would be the most interesting for me.

I did that yesterday with a Moltres, an Entie and 2 or 3 Flaroen. I think you'd better use fire mon instead of Machamp since they are sun-boosted as well.
