IV's on SC Gengar
I got a shadow claw gengar in a trade (B/C tyrantiar for SC/DP gengar, both lucky) and likely will be doing more trades for shadow claw gengar with some friends. I was wondering is there any IV set up where a shadow claw gengar would have less DPS than a Hex gengar, or is a 15 atk hex gengar always going to deal less DPS than a 0 atk SC gengar as the same level?

SC has much better DPS than hex, but hex has much better energy gain. In my opinion, the only case where hex is better is if the hex Gengar is able to launch two SB's, and the SC Gengar is only able to launch one. This was the case in my first successful Alakazam solo (against C/FS 'Zam boss), about which I posted a few days ago. I think if the SC Gengar were able to launch two SB's vs. three for the hex Gengar, the SC Gengar would come out ahead.
