It worth powering up this Nidoking?

I have a 1436 CP (level 21) and 82% IV (9/13/15) Nidoking with Poison Jab/Earthquake. It's by far the best moveset and just because of that I was thinking about spending some stardust on him.

I don't know if someday I will find a higher IV one with the same moveset. I am level 26 at the moment, what do you guys think?

I dont understand this kind of question, if you like nidoking and have enough stardust go for it. Enjoy The game .

i'd say no. he doesnt really have a place in gyms right now but maybe in 1v1 it could help but for now, save ur dusts till someone who's in the meta or a dragonite :)

Nothing worse than getting a better IV you waited for and then getting the moveset you didn't want. Then you would have to choose between the two and it would take forever.

It may not be the "S" class but it does great as an attacker if the types are right, and looks cool. Mine pretty much the same its 87% level 27, same moveset. I like it...

Honestly, I powered up an 89% PJ/EQ Nidoking early on before I really knew what I was doing to lvl 28.

Can't say I've used him in well... a long time...if ever.

He has great stats but really tough sledding type-wise.

Poison Pokemon really have it tough in this gen. Being weak to water, Ice, and Psychic is a death sentence on defense. Also, on offense his resistances are pretty worthless. Fighting? Bug? Electric? Oy. Not exactly common defenders.

I guess he's good vs. Fairy Pokemon, but they're not exactly common defenders, either given their low CP

I'm hoping the gen 2 Pokemon have some Pokemon that will be worth busting him out for. But for now, I wouldn't power up

but 15 stamina, imo the most important stat
I would level it up
Moveset > IV anyday
My 1 Magikarp candy (which was a 100% gyarados with twister) is a good example
