IS it time for the max value of an egg hatch to increase?
Since game inception, the max value of an egg hatch has been level 20. Prior to a player reaching level 20, any egg acquired can only hatch at that players level at the time the egg was picked up. The truth is, most players don't hatch many eggs prior to achieving that level themselves.
By now, there is an abundance of players well into the 30's. Yet, the eggs they hatch are still maxed at level 20. This means, if they get a good hatch, it takes 77,500 dust plus 68 candy to get any hatched mon from level 20 to level 30 where it may become useful. Not to mention the 125 it takes to evolve said mon.
I suggest that a small change in the code can make this a little more fair and equitable. Adjust the code so that when a egg is gained, and the player level is above 25, the max level that can hatch from said egg is the current player level minus 5.
Thus, a level 27 player can hatch eggs up to level 22, a level 31 player can hatch eggs up to level 26, and a level 36 player can hatch eggs up to level 31.
This would provide more incentive for high level players to continue hatching eggs, and thereby, buying incubators.

While I agree that this is the fair thing to do I don't think they will ever implement something like this. Higher lvl mon from eggs means that you need less hatches to get that mon to higher level, less candies and less dust, less time to farm and less money spent.
Those 68 candy for example in my case with Larvitar (as I have only catched one from the wild) means 3 hatches at least, to get those 3 hatches of Larvitar to get him from level 20-30 I would need to spent probably around 2k-3k coins on incubators...Assuming that you get a Larvitar per round of 20 eggs aprox.
