Is it not impossible to catch some evolved pokemons?

I have wasted tons of balls trying to catch evolved pokemons like Rapidash and Golbat. The balls don't even reach the pokemons. How is anyone supposed to catch them if balls don't even reach them? Did anyone else encounter such issues?

You are not throwing correctly. They are far away but not imposible

Don't waste your time trying to catch a Golbat. They are SOOOO hard to catch, and obviously not worth it.

Both me and my brother have an Xperia z3, i played in his phone one time and i could throw balls more easily and longer distance, wondering why, because we have the same phone, i realized that his phone screen is slippery than myne, probably bacause of myne has a screen protector, i removed the screen protector but the problem still exist, probably the protector´s glue stick in the screen. So, yes, there are some pokemons that it´s almost impossible to catch in my phone, but normal in my brother´s phone, brobably this happens to you. To minimize this problem i made some throw tests and found a way that allowed me to throw longers balls, but still not asfar as my brother, i don´t know how to explain in words how i do, but you can try throwing in different ways, sliding with different parts of the finger (sliding with nail is better, but kinda risky) untill you find your way, in your phone....

Actually I find the those far away pokemon the easiest to catch. Swipe fast across the entire screen when throwing and you'll always hit (at least this works on my phone)

Before you battle these evolved creatures turn on the camera mode. Then when you go to catch the creature turn on the camera, and then turn it off. This will pull the creature forward for one throw. Throw a ball. You will need to do this each time the creature escapes. I always turn on my camera mode before attempting to throw a ball at any Rapidash as I simply can't get the balls to reach them otherwise.

That helped me tremendously.

There's an even simpler option: turn on the camera, then tilt the phone upwards until the pokemon is very close to you (i.e., in the weedle/pidgie range). I've done this before when trying to catch zu/golbats and due to a slippery screen all of my long throws were coming out as curveballs. The downside is you'll look pretty silly with your phone pointing at the sky, but no one plays this game for looks anyway.

I have the same problem tried to catch a dragonite earlier and it was next tp impossible to throw the ball far enough, I swipe fast across the whole screen but the balls just land at his feet. hit it a couple of times but felt like more of a fluke than anything, maybe it is an issue with sony xperias? sucks pokeballs as i missed out on a dragonite.
