Invest in this shiny Gyarados or not?
I have been lucky enough to catch 3 shiny karps so far, and this is, by far, the best one. But given its defense stat, I'm on the fence whether to invest TMs and dust. What say you good people?

I'm assuming you already have a few Gyarados and have plenty of fast TMs. Use a fast TM on this and throw it in a gym to show off. You can power up later if you decide you need it. You aren't going to put Gyarados in a gym that you want to hold for a long time (such as before a raid), so it isn't too important to power up.
