Improved Incense?

I used an incense today, and got the best Pokémon I've ever seen with it -- L30 Growlithe with 1095CP and L30 Oddish with 915CP. I wonder if this is related to the recent update. Makes sense that you get fewer pidgeys, but I'm guessing the high levels are just luck.

I hope that is true. Wasn't it proven that incense brought lower than average cp/IV? I've used at least 200 incense and they are almost always consistently low cp.

I read your question. So I just tried one now. It's the same as it has always been. I think you was just really lucky

I just tried another one and also got some very high-level pokemon (L29 Horsea; L30 Pidgey).
