Imprisoned Pokemon.
Once or twice a week I travel to the town nearby and before the Gym rework, gyms were passing from one color to the other within hours, even minutes. Today nobody bother with gyms... there are very weak gyms with almost “black” hears but nobody wants to “shot them down”. My only Pokemon which I by coincidence dropped into the gym last Friday is now going to be the fifth day in a gym, no coins, no stardust, “nada”. What is interesting... it is Snorlax and someone is feeding it with the berries constantly. This is kind of ridiculous...instead being rewarded to protect the gym I am punished with imprisoned Pokemon.

I was afraid of that this weekend, but then 2 returned on Sunday evening. Then my local village gym saw 2 new players kicking me out. I think new balances are being formed. For one, in my work town which was dominated by Yellow spoofers before, nothing is yellow anymore!
Actually gym fighting is totally acceptable now that you need 3 defeats per Pokémon. A Blissey? No longer much of a deterrent. If you can beat it once with your best attackers (hint: raid bosses), then the CP falls below 2000 and next times you never time out. If the incentive to fight gyms is increased, few gyms will remain stagnant.
