If you were Ninatic....would you reward returned Gym Pokemon
Since all these pokemon are getting booted from Gyms, would you reward players with thier returned pokemon?
If so what would a "fair" reward consist of?
X candy for each pokemon returned
Y Dust for each pokemon returned
Z Coins for each pokemon returned.
What would you say is a fair, X, Y, Z amount?
If you think none, is answer 0,0,0 would be a fair reply

For me the first 24 hours nothing. But anything that exceed that time players should be rewarded, not asking for the full 100 coins and 5k dust, but I think instead ALL players should get something like 20 or 30 coins and 2k dust per each day that the gyms are not working.
Gyms are like 50% of the game at this point, a part from catching and hatching there is not much more to do without gyms, if we had pvp, legendaries and other quests then probably the impact won't be that big, but there is nothing like that so they should reward players for the time gyms are down for sure.
I just try and think "what would benefit spoofers?" I don't think we want to reward them, so I am fine with a non-monetary reward, a blue ribbon or something. For me, gyms are all about the stardust, so the most important factor is getting the gyms back up in a timely manner.
At the very least, send them back healed up, since they were never "defeated."

10 coins because regardless of the time of day, there will be some players who cash in for 100 coins 5 minutes before the gyms close, and the others who are 5 minutes short of 21 hours. If everyone gets an extra days worth of coins, there is less to complain about.
I was actually holding off on reviving 48 fainted Pokemon, though I have 56 revives, with the vague hope that they might revive and restore all Pokemon the way they did with the first big CP/move reshuffle.
It depends on how fast the new update is implemented; the sooner, the less gym collects we will have foregone which means I would expect minimum (of either coins or stardust) if any at all. If, however the update isn't implemented until, saw July or the anniversary, o could see say 0, x, x where x=something
