Ideas on Flareon and Vaporeon

Hi, I'm lvl 32 #teamvalor here,I have a question about 2 of my pokemons..
1) 1554CP_91% IV flareon w/ Ember/Flamethrower (obviously I'm not using it for offense , is it worth keeping?)
2) 894CP_93.3%IV (14-14-14) vaporeon with water pulse (is it worth powering up? since I've got 100%IV water pulse and 91% IV water pulse vaporeons , I don't think it is worth powering up to max?)

so if you share your ideas on these pokemons I'd be happy, ty

Any Eeveevolutions above 90% iv is worth keeping even with bad moves.

1)Obviously flareon is better with fireblast for offensive. Either way, it can soft counter lapras in my opinion. If you dont have lapras counters. Maybe you should power him up for later use if you're gym fanatic like me. Flareon is bad with defending with vaporeons around m8. Or best option wait for a better fire pokemon like arcanine to counter lapras efficiently.

2)With that low CP you should considered it. If you need another gym controlled, that should be a great investment if you ask me.
If you're a lone wolf like me, it is better to find higher CP pokemons with lower IV for defending a gym for a short amount of time.

That vaporeon is so low on CP that you should just keep him for prestiging since you already have better vapes for attack and defense. And sure >90% IV Flareon is worth keeping but I wouldn't necessarilyy power him up with that moveset.

Powering low guys up to level 20 is not really that much extra. Level 20-30, and then above level 30, the costs are much higher. The bigger question: Are these pokemon that you would want to power up above level 30? That is where the higher IVs are going to pay off for your investment. Otherwise, just evolve level 25-30 wild Eevees and use them.

Assuming u aren't in desperate need of Pokemon storage space. In my situation I'd keep them but not power either of them. (If u have excessive stardust and a lack of good defenders then power the Vaporeon to lv 30ish) They can be used for prestige.

It's funny... I used to be violently opposed to trading. Now, I would be willing to trade a Lapras (obviously not a top one) for your 91% WP Vape. I haven't been able to evolve one with that moveset and good IV...

All these power up questions really just goes to show that it depends on what you need.

Having just caught a lvl 7 Eevee at 93%, I'd power mine up to max in a heartbeat even at low levels since I NEED defenders with higher CP, there are only 5 really to power up for that purpose. If you already have 10 solid defenders and being higher level lets you put other things down like Lapras, Exeggutor, etc...and if you already powered up those, then there is less of a need to "waste" your dust on defender #12, 13 or whatever...

Stardust is not a problem for folks who don't power up a lot of things (over 800k here) and for most areas, Eevee candy can be caught easily so very simple decision.

That said, if you have over 10 high CP defenders, you may want to save your dust for gen 2 since a few will be ahead of Vaporeon (Blissey, Tyranitar) and as mentioned, getting Vaporeon #3 when you already have say, 15 defenders buys you nothing.

I would always power up to the max any WP Vape with good IVs like yours. You can never have too many elite gym defenders.

What is your definition of good iv?
I have a 8/15/14 82% WP at level 31.5 cp2731. Should i give up and continue to power up?
