[Idea] What do you guys think?
I hit 35 recently and my collection is growing. So I was thinking how best to organize these pokés... What if we had multiple favourites - ★1, ★2, ★3, ★4, ★5. You could tap the ★ to favourite a pokemon additional times. Sorting by favourite on the Pokémon screen would sort all ★1's to the top of the list by CP followed by ★2's, etc... This would us to group attackers separate from defenders or anyway that suits the player.
TL;DR - What if we had multiple favourites - ★1, ★2, ★3, ★4, ★5.

Yes, but every pokemon needs to have a star field, and for the ones that you choose not to star, well, they should get a zero, shouldn't they?
And yes, you can start the numbering system shown to the player anywhere you want, and give it any scale you want. You know, math, and all that.
All I'm saying is that, as long as we're proposing moving away from a no-star/star system (or 0/1), it would likely be a power of two number of choices.
I would rather see different 'tags' rather than numbering the same tag....it is an old request that was made by players a lot in the past, but we have given up on hoping that Niantic listen to what it is that we want as QoL updates.
With different tags I could tag them as I see fit and have a tag for attackers, a tag for defenders, a tag for my collection of my choice (lvl1, CP666, legacy or what ever personal collections people have), a tag for trade bait etc.
These could just be single different 'icons' rather than the same icon with a number next to it, which would just get messy on screen.
It would also mean that each mon could carry multiple tags, if it fits multiple criteria.
