Idea: Pokemon Stadium Plus
What if Ninatic sold a device that was a Pokemon Stadium plus.
It would allow 2 trainers (or more) to connect to the same Stadium Plus via Bluetooth.
Once connected on thier phones they would see a "Stadium" added to thier map they could click on.
Stadiums would allow PVP & Trading.
Since you would need to connect to the stadium via bluetooth, spoofers and world-wide selling wouldn't be as practical.
If PVP battles were done phone side (or stadium plus side) you could minimize lag differences for people as well and server load for Ninatic.
If the stadium PVP used your 'real' world potions and revives you could allow the stadium to double as a pokestop. If it didn't, you wouldnt.

you should not be sold on the feature of it stopping/reducing spoofers.
This needs to happen either way,
done through the game itself, work towards stopping spoofers, not half fixed and patched up through some external device/system.
(and it sounds like it wouldn't even solve the problem, just reduce it, maybe.)
I dunno about the idea of having to buy another product to be able to PVP and trade...
These are things we should get access to regardless, they are features that should be part of the main game. It would be nice if we had them now...but when they do eventually arrive...i don't want it to cost me a lump of money.
Also, why do we need an extra device for this ? Wouldnt the exact same thing not be possible without ?
I'm sure there could even be a system where we connect our devices via bluetooth...thats simple mobile phone technology, we don't need an extenrnal device to allow phone to phone connection.
But i still don't get that logic ?
if there is no device rural players wont be left out ?
how ? I dont understand the specific link between this device and it helping rural players.
(and don't get me wrong, and not pooping on the idea, i just think something like this could happen perfectly fine without needing another device, im just trying to give honest feedback on the idea that was posted here for viewing)
what im saying is...this thing could happen, without the need to buy a device ! it could all happen internally within the game...or maybe even a companion app.
aka...both rural and none rural players alike...can do whatever it is you describe, just without needing the device.
think of a 'virtual stadium' that people connect too, that can be set up anywhere, or however the system would work.
Also, if some sort of device did exist to help people not be left out...what about the people that may be left out that cant afford this device ? and maybe cant go out and find someone who has one ? (sometimes it can be hard enough to find other players in less popular areas, let alone one who has this device)
kids, who cant buy one, and cant always go out to find people...because they are kids and need supervision. People who are just short on money. whatever the reason may be.
The overall idea is interesting in concept, and the idea of it happening through some cool device is interesting too. But in reality I dont think an extra physical device should be something that is overused when it comes to this game, it is a mobile game afterall and it should not get too 'needy' and require all this extra stuff.
The current Go Plus is something you can say has its own unique purpose, it entire design is so you can play without your phone out. And you cant play the game with the screen off, without some sort of device. Its also completely optional and just there for people who want to use it.
But something like PVP/trading is something that everyone is gonna want access too, and it doesnt 'need' a seperate device or something to over complicate it.
And all the things that need to be in place, such as anti spoofing etc which seems to be the main selling point of the device, needs to be done through the game regardless ! and not through things that cost us money
people would spoof be able to trade or sell anyway, they will just need to go to that place, dont think spoofers are people living in nowhere place with no trainers around or in towns with zero people other than them, they can travel or go to the main park of your town so they will just go to that place and use bluetooth
