Ice HP Togekiss use

Hello all, I'm the lucky owner of Ice Hidden Power on Togekiss, which is much more useful than the average type for synergy with charged moves against dragons. The question is - what is its best use, raids or PvP? I know HP is not great in PvP, but Ice is good against the usual dragons there (including Giratina).

Depending on the final decision, I could power it up beyond the cp2500 or add 2nd charged move to it.

Unfortunately, at least for now, HP ice wont be the best against palkia, its water/dragons, so it isnt weak to ice. Air slash would be the better fast move. It likely will be more useful in PvP or if salamence dragonite and when it comes out, garchomp, are in gyms

It might not be the best for giratina, as it tends to carry ancient power, which togekiss is weak to, but it will be good against the other dragon claw carriers, in particular Dragonite and Flygon.

HP ice is i'd say the second best HP for dragon slaying (the best being dragon), and its still good as a tank counter for palkia as is.

Thanks, but for Palkia raids it's not an issue because I just better go with my seasoned dragon team (Ray, Dnite, Salamence, Latios), but I see upcoming generations will still feature dragon legendaries, plus expected comebacks like Rayquaza or Giratina for its other forme. The good thing is I can always TM for Air Slash and TM back to Ice HP, as it won't change the typing, so it's a cheap all rounder.

That is true, the dragons are always great.

Though for Rayquaza raids, Mamoswine's going to...well, put the deep freeze on the green noodle. Togekiss could be fun though, hope I eventually get a HP ice

My Steel HP Togekiss envies your Ice HP.

Yours will be an awesome counter against Rayquazza and any possible Dragonite or Salamence raids (and in gyms).

I got a hundo togekiss with ice hp. Using in ultra league. It is awesome.

It'll be great against any dragons you see in gyms thanks to their double weakness to ice. Against Palkia raids you'd be better off TM'ing it to Air Slash.

This doesn't change in PvP, though it does build energy slower than Air Slash.

Best you can get. Palkia is only weak to dragon and fairy type attacks and Hidden Power Fairy doesn't exist. Hidden Power Dragon and Dazzling Gleam are the only moves that let Togekiss constantly hit for super effective damage.

Hidden Power Flying has slightly more DPS than Air Slash thanks to STAB, but generally speaking if you don't have HP Dragon you're better off TM'ing it to Air Slash to use against Palkia.
