I just saw my friend obtain a region exclusive from a 7km egg, is that a glitch or is it actually possible to obtain the region pokemon through 7km eggs? What are the chances?
Event that ended on Oct 8 gave a chance of hatching Gen I regionals, Tangela, or Porygon in addition to Alolan formal from 7K eggs.

It's an egg that he obtained prior to October 8, but did not incubate/hatch until recently. it's not a glitch, just a simple misunderstanding of how the regionals from 7km eggs work. You're gonna be okay.
