Sorry to hear about how that turned out for you since you wanted vaporeon. But I actually love my 2227 cp VS/TB jolteon. Pretty much every gym around here has gyarados, and jolteon has taken out 3 gyarados on its own without dodging, unless they have outrage or crunch.

So you used the Rainer name once to get a Vaporeon and tried to use it again?

Dude OK vaporeon is the best but jolteon vs/tb is an excellent pokemon. I d certainly power it up. And I prefer jolteon than espeon or flareon. Gyarados is a very common defender and a high cp dt/hp can be a challenge.

It works sometimes cause I've got 13 vaporeans and most were from using trick. But obviously if you do it immediately after you named it then it isn't going to work

Man, what are you complaining about? Sure VS is difficult to get used to at first but trust me it's great.

You could've ended up with a Flareon.
