Hypno for attacking ?

Hey guys,

Have any of you ever used Hypno for attacing gyms ??
I evolved a 89% Hypno that came with the best attacking moveset (Zen/Psychic) and I haven't had the time to test it yet, but I have some extra dust that I would like to invest... maybe powering him up a bit ? He is around 1400cp.

It's a fine pokemon, but psychic type is never gonna be super effective, so the type is better on defense. I wouldn't burn any dust on it but if you need a neutral attacker vs somthing like a lapras you could use it

Wrong. Hypno is going to be super effective against three plants (thanks to poison off type), Muk, Nido-royalty and one of the most tough defenders in the game - Poliwrath.
If you don't have stable team of high-end tier attackers, Hypno can prove useful.

I would use my fire, water, grass or eggs/bro vs them since they have higher cp and resistance, but hypno could be useful for prestigeing

Save every bit of dust you can. I'm a level 35 and I am almost always running low trying to keep everything fully trained.

Can't wait for an event with double Stardust.

Hopefully Christmas. With ice Pokemon.

I regularly use an 1800 Hypno as an attacker - works well against Lapras, Snorlax, Slowbro. Candies were easy to find before the Halloween event and are now dropping all over the place. 1400 isn't bad but you stand a decent chance of capturing an 80%+ evolved Hypno above 1500 or 730+ Drowzee over the next couple of days which will save you stardust.

No...dont power up a Hypno.
