How would you rate Dragonites Movesets

For me A Tier is
DB/DC
DT/Out
DB/DP

all of these might beat each other depending on dodge pattern and dodge window of your enemy and how many times you fire your charge move.

I have a hard time with the B-C Tier deciding between
DT with remaining charge moves Hurricane/Hyper
DB with remaining charge move Hyper
SW with best charge moves DC/Outrage

The D tier would be
SW with remaining moves: Pulse, Hyper, Hurricane

A tier- DB/+ any charge move. Pulse might be better than Hyper Beam on paper, but it has a really long animation and launching a few of those forces you to sustain a few quick moves.
B + tier- DT/ Outrage (Similar situation to Pulse. DT is also a extremely great Defensive move, but a overly slow quick move)
B tier- DT/ Hurricane ^ same as above
C tier (I wouldn't use any of these for attacking)- SW/ DC, SW/ DP, SW/HB, DT/HB (They're all a cluster of moves I'd stick immediately into the gym.)

You're going to think I'm crazy...

DB/DC
SW/DC
DB/DP DT/O DT/H
DB/HB DT/HB SW/O SW/H SW/DP
SW/HB

I test my SW/DC cp 3012 and my DB/DP cp3074 against the same pokes a lot. Time after time SW/DC comes home with more hp

That should come as no surprise maybe try spamming DB and use only 1 DP? From my experience DP has always had a awkwardly long animation.

Dragon Tail move sets are the best for defense. Dragon Breath or Steel Wing movesets for offense (people don't like Dragon Tail's awkwardness)

My opinion for offensive Dragonite:

Dragon Breath Dragon Claw * Legacy A
Dragon Breath Dragon Pulse * Legacy B
Steel Wing Dragon Claw * Legacy B
Steel Wing Dragon Pulse * Legacy B
Dragon Tail Outrage B
Dragon Tail Hurricane B
Steel Wing Outrage B
Steel Wing Hurricane C
Dragon Breath Hyper Beam * Legacy C
Dragon Tail Hyper Beam D
Steel Wing Hyper Beam D

Many of us really couldn't be bothered dodging every quick move, not only do we have better things to do, better places to be, but we really just wanna see some big hits that wow us with their ridonkulous power. If it was legit PvP, we'd have a different perspective.

DT/O is as close as it gets to a generalist facemelter. This is handy for someone like me who doesn't have to worry/stress about my phone lagging and missing dodges when a DT/O is usually gonna take out 2 defenders even in 'pretty bad' case scenarios.

If you can take out 2 defenders with DT/O then you can take out 4-5 defenders with DB/DC with dodging. The extra time spent on dodging with DB/DC is time saved on reviving/potioning. And less usage of revives and potions.

For mine it would be:
DB/DC
DT/O
DB/HB or DB/DP or DT/H or DT/HB (HB is buffed a lot while DP being not superior than most Dragonite moves)
SW/DC or SW/O
SW/H (easy dodging)
SW/DP (slightly less damage output than Outrage)
SW/HB (without STAB and bad type counters)

I mostly agree with the new attack rankings for Dragonite on this site.

DT/O is #1 by a mile. DB may be great to dodge with but it just don't matter.

Im kinda surprised DB/DC isn't listed second but I'm not sure if they're saying it's below the other DT moves since they're all listed as B. I wish they clarified this better but I don't wanna complain about the best site.

I think SW/O being listed a B shows how good the ranking are. SW is so much better for offense now (i have a SW/DP that's almost usable for offense now) and O is just sick.

DB/DC and DT/O are both A in my book as I have some time playing with DT/O now. It comes down to your play style. It is much easier to dodge even Charge moves, esp. Hydropump and Stone Edge and even Psychic, with DB. DT is 1.1s cooldown which is not bad but Body Slam Snorlax will hit you more often. Outrage hits hard, but is pretty slow 3.9s for charge move so you have more vulnerability there as well. You definitely have to pay more attention play DT/O than DB/C.

EDIT: Just realized that Outrage has longer cooldown than Hyper Beam now! It's only half the energy with STAB so much better obviously, but you're definitely very vulnerable firing Outrage being that it's 2 bar charge move.

Not sure what Gamepress is thinking rating only DT/O "A". The extra 9% DPS over DB/DC might not even be worth it.
