How old ist the Playerbase?

Me is just curious about what is the average age of Trainers :D

I mean, ya.. maybe the average is a little below what will be posted here.. because younger kids tend to "Just Play, don't Care".. but anyway.. lets do this:

I am 26 as well. In general you probably will have older responses I suspect. A lot of kids do the game with their parents, and probably wouldn't use the forum.

I guess reality looks like about 16/17 - in average..

True, started playing Pokemon Saphire with like 7 years and never really stopped.

Sorry, i am a ruby guy. lol. I can not wait for Gen 3 to be honest i played the games from 1-3 then played Black/White and was lost lol.

I played the card games and Red/Blue/Yellow a ton. Ended with Gold/Silver. I was on the upper end of the age limit, most were a few years younger than me. I'm 31 so I would guess the average age is 25-29.

I got into Go for the fitness bit, and my kids, 6 and 4, like pokemon.

20, but Im by far the youngest of my squad.

I was already an adult when Pokemon arrived in my country (UK), and I became interested in the franchise through the anime, then the TCG shortly after. Playing an actual video game came a bit later, but all that did was hook me further.

My wife and I both play and we are 55 and 59.

I bought Pokemon red and blue for my kids when they were about 5 or 6 to play when we were on a trip. I had to help them get through a lot of parts and ended up getting hooked on the game. By the time Gold and Silver came out I had my own GBC and my own copy of the game.

The most harcore players in my town are from 25 to 65

Had never partaken in the pocket monsters until Pogo.

Never played, but my son and daughter did and got me into it when POGO was first released. I started walking 4 - 5 miles a day almost 3 years ago, and POGO gives me an added incentive.

Weird...I could've sworn only people in late high-school or in college/university can fork out so much time for this game. I'm 20, going into my final year of college

First time "gamer". Daughter got me started and she bailed at level 23. Walked for health/well being already.

47...only exposure to Pokemon was through my kids (now 14 & 10)...they got me into Pogo by getting me to catch and collect on my daily walks but got stingy when I wanted to power up/evolve or use lucky eggs/incense, LOL. So I stopped helping them at level 24 (each) and started my own account last October. Now I've left them in the dust and am level 36! =-)
