So I evolved 5 high level/decent iv eevee today. 3 were Vaporeon (each moveset) 1 Jolteon TS/DC (any good?) And the subject of this post a 71% FS/OH Flareon. Now my question is how much worse in overall dps is Ember. Because I personally don't like FS for me it is to slow for a fragile pokemon like Flareon. So I am wandering once it is up to a higher level and if I have an access of TMs and decided to change it to E/OH how much performance would I be losing? And is that worth the speed?
Ember is practically just as slow (1.0s vs 1.1s) and does 40% less damage or something to Firespin so it's much worst IMO (10 vs 14 damage)...
Both moves aren't Fury Cutter fast so at the end of the day, Firespin is simply >> Ember IMO...
No reason to want Ember and you can just keep trying to raid Flareon bosses.
