How much chansey candy have you collected so far?
If your not walking chasey or blissey your making a mistake... for everyone that is how much candy have you already collected?
Answers
I walked a Chansey for 6 candies sometime last year. That might have been my biggest buddy "mistake" so far because I haven't done anything with those candies.
I have 90 or so Chansey candies so far and no Blissey yet, but I don't mind waiting for the big evolve until I eventually hatch my way to 220 candies. With 18 defenders in stable gyms I don't need one as a defender, and I doubt I'd regularly use one as an attacker because I prefer speed.
People should just walk whatever they need...This depends on your area/hatches, etc...
As great as Blissey is, she's still 6th on the CP scale and will get shaved off easily.
After v-day, I had 500+ Chancey candies and maxed 2 so I don't want to put all my "eggs" in 1 basket.
I am still sitting on 100+ candies to max my 2 Blisseys to level 38 or 39 now (forget what I can get to since I just caught a Blissey today...Another ran a few days ago and wife caught one while I was driving...(I live in the desert).
Blissey is not hard for most high level players who know how to play.
Yeah, so RNG-based. It is extraordinarily unlikely to beat a same level ZH/DG Blissey with a SW/HB (7/1800 chance) Dragonite. However, though still unlikely, it is easier to defeat the Blissey with a DB/DC (25/1800 chance) or DT/Outrage (31/1800 chance) Dragonite. DT/Hurricane (15/1800 chance) is acceptable, but not the best in most cases.

Ok relax everyone didn't mean to stir the pot. My point was it is a fact that dratini is more popular to hatch EVERYWHERE then chansey.
Someone said blissey will loose relevance or some shit, that's jus dumb blissey will always be a relevant defense
Not only that but blissey is a tier 1 attacker and defender.
No matter what happens w the gym rework blissey is always gonna be the best most bulky defender. If u wanna walk someone else cas there the favorite mon u have that's ur business. I have dt/o drag I have b/se ttar, blissey is more important it's just a fact.
Tier 1 defender and attacker.
Dragonite has a double weakness to ice any level 20 player can beat it one on one.
Like someone said with blissey u need the right arsenal
Blissey is the only legit defender. Blissey will always be able to defend.
Not to throw my two cents at a dead horse, but:
(1) If it's true, as you say, that Blissey is the only legit defender, then people at Niantic are going to be highly motivated to change things in order to make the game less boring as they plan the gym rework. If the endgame of PoGo is that everyone only needs to have/use 12 good Blisseys and 6 good Machamps, that'll be incredibly depressing.
(2) As things stand currently, anyone can use a buddy to power up three Rhydons or Gyaradoses to 3100+ at the walking cost of one Blissey above 3100, and can place above those Blisseys. Unless things change, there will always be one kind of defender that outlasts a Blissey in a gym: any mon with a higher CP that is placed above that Blissey. It may not be ideal, but it is what it is.
I have 5 maxed Blissey, 4 others waiting to be powered up but have wrong moves (so they are presitgers).
I have 2 wild caught Blissey that I use for attack...and I have 462 candy.
You don't need to tell me the merits of Blissey, nor does it mean I am making a mistake in not walking Blissey/Chansey.
My point was simply that not everyone in all biomes is in the same position with the most popular candy - and it has nothing to do with them being under informed or misinformed.
...as for hatching, I consistently hatch far more Chansey than I do Dratini, and have for a long time.
