How many people here had an EX Raid cancelled Oct 1/Oct 2?
So one of the 2 Deoxys raids I had invites to this week (I know, I know) got cancelled. Anyone else have worse luck than me, and have their only raid cancelled?
And does anyone have any idea why some - but not all - were cancelled today?

My raid invite to the Oct 1 raid was cancelled, but my son's was not. Apparently, he was not logged into his PoGo account during the critical period on Sept. 27 after the not EX happened. Those few people in our community who had EX invites to this "cancelled raid" invited friends and family. But when we tried to fight we found that those people that fought the raid on Sept. 27th saw only the "raid completed" icon. The trainers who hadn't fought that raid were able to fight the Oct 1 DeOxys raid.
This is what I heard at my EX raid that wasn’t canceled: One of our local EX raids got canceled today. People expecting the EX raid were surprised to see a different egg suddenly appear about an hour before the EX start time. Cancellations went out about 30 minutes later. Prevailing thought is that since eggs can now appear at EX scheduled gyms (hopefully just a bug), this one got overridden by the regular egg.
No, they changed the code, didn't debug it properly, and this mess happened. You can rest assured that Niantic isn't doing psychological experiments on their user base. They screwed up, not on purpose, and they are unhappy about it. Someone or someones may have lost their jobs.
It's just a game, people. Lighten up.
