How many obtainable pokemon is deemed a complete pokedex

This is a personal goal. Why ask us you know you're limitations.

Totally subjective. The game is already flawed in the sense that certain Pokémon do not appear in certain places at all.

My count is 233. I think I am missing unown, and have two regionals, and that is my pokedex number. Everything else that I don't have is regional (4 I think), or not released, yet.

233. I'm at 231 and is missing Feraligatr (have the candy for one though) and Unown.

I have 233 and even a shiny Gyarados, which is all I can get here besides unown. Technically I'm only a 45 min drive from Heracross territory, so I count that as my missing piece, rather than a pointless unown

251 or bust

232 not counting any regionals, so 233, if you assume one regional, though some have access to more than one (i.e. S. Florida, and maybe Corpus Christi, Tx)

Keep checking gyms, someone (legit or spoofer) might have some of the regional exclusives. I've seen a Heracross and a Tauros in gyms before. Also travel to other parts if you barely have gyms. Otherwise just settle for what can be obtained.
