- My first Dragonite: It was Sep 20. I met him when he was still a Dratini. It was pretty hard to get there; I managed to be there in the last minute (I timed the spawner).
He has 15/13/14 iv, and then he got Dragon Breath and Dragon Pulse. Since then on, we've gone through thousands of battles and he never failed me; I still carry him every time I fight a gym, except he's been put into one previously.
So yes, I'm maxing him out. - Attacker Vaporeon: The same day (Sep 20) I caught a 15/15/14 Eevee. Then he became Vaporeon with Hydro Pump, my first HP Vaporeon. We've fought a lot of battles as well.
- Defender Vaporeon: My first 100iv Eevee, whom I used the Naming Trick on. It was a pity that he got Water Pulse; anyhow it's not bad for defending. So he got maxed out just for defending gyms.
- Jolteon: My second 100iv Eevee. Without the Naming Trick, he became a Jolteon. Fortunately, he got Thunder. Recently there're too many Gyarados, so I decided to max him out.
- Gyarados: Hatched him as Magikarp. At first, I was pretty sad, not getting starters or Jigglypuff, but then I found out that he has perfect IVs.
I didn't evolve him until the CP adjustment. I wanted to keep him as Magikarp to own the title "the strongest Magikarp". After the adjustment, I figured it out he could get over 3200CP at level 38.5. That's amazing. So I evolved him into a Gyarados and have been maxing him out ever since. - Alakazam: Caught him as an Abra. Pretty high IVs (14, 15, 15), and he got Psycho Cut/Psychic. I didn't power him up even once until the CP adjustment.
- My last Dragonite: Ever since my first Dragonite, I've always wanted to try DB/DC. I then evolved several other Dragonites, but none of them got DB/DC. Until December. Now he's my Chief Attacker (predecessor was my first Dragonite mentioned above).

Working on new Kabuto(my last Dex entry!) thanks to nest migration, plan to max it for fun since I've yet to see one in a gym and I've got some spare dust. Also looking for a top notch tentacruel to max but I keep rolling hydro pump instead of blizzard.
A few reasons I guess... Tired of seeing HP on all so many pokes, game usually selects dragonites to attack first and tentacruel will be at the bottom, awkward to dodge. I don't know, I just prefer it I suppose.
It's not the best defender anyway, but it is my favorite since it has odd resistances and a nice mix of movesets. I'd like for it to use blizzard instead of plain ol' hydro pump:)
