How many Legends to keep of each?

Do you guys keep all of your legends? Or do you have some kind of cutoff and then transfer for candies? For example I have like 8 Kyogres, some are great, one 96 IV I boosted, some not so much. Do you still keep all or when a legend ends or do you keep 3, or 5 maybe. Thoughts?

I keep any over 90% or any with an Attack of 15 if I can. For some of the Birds, I've only got 1 or 2 (Articuno was nasty for me) so I keep them all. Ho-Oh I've got 8 currently, and I'll be transferring 4 of them the next time there's a Double Candy event. (Somehow I've also got 5 Kyogre... hrm...)

Just one of each with the best possible IVs I can find for each one during their timestamps as T5 bosses. I'm personally not a fan of having duplicates of the same legendary, so I like to keep it distinctive with them. Makes them feel more like legendary Pokemon.

I keep the 3 of each with best IVs and transfer the rest, regardless of what IV the cutoff point ends up being. I don't personally have any reason to keep more, 1 for powering up, 2 just for safety if I ever change my principle of only powering up one.

Why? It's efficient and looks nice since I get them in rows of 3s.

Ok lets say you managed to capture 4 100% kyogre. Are you going to delete 4. One?

I might make an exception if I caught 4 perfects. But that's absurdly unlikely. I've had to delete 4 or 5 91% Kyogres already but I have never seen a perfect legendary.

Why wouldn't you keep at least 6 if it's the strongest water type in the game? If you're transferring multiple 91% Kyogres I would imagine you have a ton of candy? Then if you max out the 3 Kyogres you would have to start using Gyarados' to fill the rest of your team in a raid when you could have 6 of the best instead.

I'm at 200 Kyogre candy, not enough to even max one, and half of that is rare candy I transferred when I got the first one. The idea of maxing more than one is absolutely absurd, I will never have the resources or feel the necessity to do so.

I originally kept 6 of each but cut down to 3 last autumn during the double candy, needed the space for evolution fodder.

I do the same, although I won't throw away anything over 90.
I actually do the same for non-legendary Pokemon as well, I like having three of each.

Its not about numbers. I keep worthy ones.

I caught 9 boosted Groudons. Even though no money was spent on raid passes, still wouldn’t want to have nothing to show for all those sweeping coins.

I don't have a exactly number. I power up one or two (the best IV with the best moveset) than I keep other with different movesets.

For exemple:

I have 16 Goudon. The best one is 96% M/Sb at level 30 and will be my generalist. The second is 89% (weather boost) M/Eq level 25, which I plan to power up soon to be my best ground attacker. Then I have a M/Fb and a Dt/Sb, too. The others I'm waiting for a double candy event.

I try and collect the move sets that make sense plus a couple extra of my highest ivs incase the opportunity for new moves come. Usually 4-6

I've been keeping the best 8 of each, but only power up one. This keeps open a possibility of making a full squad, and leaves two for trading, if that ever happens.

Anything below (or equal to) 80% = 1 candy

Minimum for each legendary? 0.

If they're the best of their type then I would keep at least 6. Why would you transfer any Raikous, Kyogres etc. until you at least have a full team of them. They're the best at what they do and they may not come back for a while so you should keep your options open.

For now, Pokemon space is not an issue so I keep my Groudon and Kyogre until I can transfer them for double candy. After that I'll keep 6 Kyogre (because I found that many above 91% and 15a) and maybe also 6 Groudon because they are that much better than Rhydon. Keeping them does not mean that I will invest in them right away or even any time soon, though.

I also kept 5 Raikou (91%+ and 15a), but of all other legendaries only 3.
