How many entries in a full Gen 2 Pokedex?
There are 100 Gen 2 Pokemon. Six are legendary (Raikou, Entei, Suicine, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi) and two are regionals (Heracross and Corsola). Another post mentioned that Delibird and Smeargle are not yet in the game as Niantic have yet to figure out how to implement their special abilities.
That leaves 90. Any others that I missed out? Are Unown and Hitmontop practically unattainable for legit players?
Can Pichu, Cleffa, Iggybuff, Togepi, Tyrogue, Smoochum, Elekid and Magby be caught in the wild or only hatched from eggs?

Yeah, getting at least one Unown is feasible for a legit player, which is enough for the pokedex entry, but a complete collection seems virtually impossible.
Not caught any Hitmontop in the wild, but I've had the right Tyrogue from an egg and obtained him through evolving. I've heard hearsay that Tyrogue can be caught in the wild, but I've not personally seen evidence of that.
The babies are only hatched from eggs. If you are not spending money/coins on incubators, then it will probably be a long time before you get all of them.
Hatching a Tyrogue with high HP(?) IV is the main way to get Hitmontop, but I have seen enough people saying they have found Hitmontop in the wild also that I'd guess it is probably similar spawn rates as Chan and Lee.
I have hatched all of the babies, including three Tyrogue--one of which had the correct IV that I evolved, another tied so it would have been a good chance for Hitmontop. I read somewhere, maybe Silph Road Reddit, an analysis of a lot of Tyrogue evolutions that IIRC said equal IVs gave an equal chance for Chan and Lee, but a 2-1 chance for Top.
I've never even seen an Unown, but I am expecting an event at some point with increased Unown spawns. ... Google says International Literacy Day is September 8. If nothing before then, that would be a good time to have an Unown event.
My max Pokedex is 235 and that includes Mr. Mine, Heracross and Corsela which are region exclusive.
The only Pokemon which will most likely remain unattainable to me is unown.
I'm currently on vacation in Bali and that's where I saw my first wild hitmontop. Unfortanetely, I only had wifi at that point and couldn't get out to catch it. Was lucky enough to hatch my first 2 tyrogue during the last even with the according iv stats for hitmontop.
