I noticed lures seemed to be lasting really long but wasn’t sure because I never saw the announcement for how long. I would drop lures before the CD starts so they are on the 6 hour clock in case it changes to 3 hours again. There have been multiple signs that the April 14 CD and the Knato event were planned by different members of the Niantic team and that they made little effort to fully coordinate the two overlapping events.

How long will the lures last on Community Day?
Curious question, I know, since the event info by Niantic states 3 hours. But we are currently enjoying 6 hour lures as part of the Kanto event, which was never acknowledged but is happening. Since both events overlap, I don't know when I should start my lures. I'm other words, will it be a disadvantage to start them during the Community event?
Does anyone know? Thanks for any info.
