How long till Machamp solo
This is my team I have an espeon on the way that will take the place of the dragonite

I would say his team is ready if he gets a bit luck with Machamp's moveset (i.e. it has close combat). It still might be a bit underpowered against dynamic punch and heavy slam.
Yes, definitely dump the Ho-Oh first. Even at level 30+, Ho-Oh's value as a Machamp counter is strictly in his tankiness. At level 20, he is of no value against Machamp compared to other mons you undoubtedly have.
I think you need to power up your two Zams and your Dragonite to level 30, swap Ho-oh out for another level 30 zam or espeon and you should be able to solo C/CC, BP/CC. And maybe even C/DP with proper dodging. Heavy slam movesets are harder and need powering up past level 30 in my experience.
The feeling of solo'ing your first tier 3 raid is unforgettable
I probably had to wait longer than most to compensate for my older phone and considerable lag, but this team finally allowed me to solo a Machamp with DP, and later CC (which was much easier). Keep In mind they probably don't need to be such high level with a faster phone.

Power up the Dragonite and Ho-Oh a little, and if you get an Espeon with FS, replace the C/P Espeon with that. You're more than ready after that. The weaker Zam could also use a bit more dust, but it won't be nearly as cost effective as the last two - I mean, that Ho-Oh is at level 20, isn't he? Give it a few power ups , no matter how little dust you have.
Any Espeon moveset, even the “bad” move sets have higher DPS than nearly any other mons best moveset vs Machamp with the exception of Alakazam & MewTwo. I’d personally keep the C/P in the lineup over Ho-Oh and Dnite unless up against HS when more bulk is needed. But given that these two are at such a low level I don’t think they’d offer much bulk.
Meaning if he gets another Espeon I’d keep them both in the lineup. And remove something else.
