How long does the PoGO Plus battery last?

And how do I know it's time to replace it?

I got my Plus on July 18 and use it daily, obviously much more on my non-work days. I noticed a strange new symbol appearing on the "connect icon on my screen (beneath the compass) and was wondering if it means the battery is getting low.

This is the low battery symbol. I do not own a plus so I can't comment on battery life personally but July-now isn't too shabby for a button battery.

Daily use, 1 to 2 hrs a day, will last 1 to 3 months. Factors include: battery freshness, spawn and stop density, etc.

I've gone through 4-5 batteries. Generally squeezed out a few more days after low batt indicator lit, then it would just disconnect after connect.
