This is how hard you need to fight for coins if you live in Hong Kong (or similar metropolis)
It is not really a question, but just a glimpse of how improbable, if not impossible you are going to get 50 coins a day when you live in a place like Hong Kong. Today is Monday evening, mind you.
Not a complaint though. Because we have so many stops and gyms and when it comes to CD or Raid Days, we have it so good. You can even monitor Telegram and receive posts from people about 100% and rush to get them. Free coins is pretty much the only thing we don't have here.

Yes i agree. Everytime i try to attack a gym, one of the following thigs happen:
* Gym motivation is instantly full after attacking the gym once
* 10+ people attack a gym until there is 1 Pokemon left and the 1 pokemon gets fed INSTANTLY after being beaten. After 10 mins there are 6 pokemon left.
The fortress of despair cannot be broke and this is the proof of it. To lift the fortress, a limit needs to be put on the number of GRBs fed on 1 Pokemon before it is knocked out (I think 3 should be enough).
Yes. 10 berries per 30 mins, starting from the moment you feed your first. However other trainers can also feed your Pokemon, and also for them is 10 berries per 30 mins. So just for 6 defenders you can coordinate and use that 60 berries to cover different time slots.
4 hours 190 berries fed! Still standing!
I'm also in HK, and since I'm not active constantly my Pokemon never get 50 coins before KO. Last time, I threw a Rhyperior in the Olympic Station Gym, and like 5 minutes later it was dead. It is a completely different situation in my week long Japan trip, I was taking down the gym in my hotel and NO ONE even put a single berry into any of the defenders, and 10 minutes later, I took the gym, even though at the start every single Mon was at full motivation.
It's the cruel and sad truth that every PoGO player in HK has to face. Even my PoGO friends in Canada are complaining that a lot of players in HK don't let other players have their coins, but in reality, infinity GRBing your Pokemon in a gym is literally the only way to keep it there.
That's his point....he isn't kidding you, he is asking a rhetorical question that we all know the answer to.
He is highlighting that many aspects of the game are far better for players in Singapore/HK than anywhere else and yet all we see is little entitled kids complaining about one or 2 details that are not already perfect for them personally.
