How good are legacy dragonites with db/hb or sw/dc now?
I think better than before but how good exactly do you guys think it is...compared to its nowadays movesets which i think dt/or is now the best overall dragonite you can get now

TBH I never saw a Dragonite with HP, but I have several DB/HB and they are probably about as viable as before. Personally I now prefer DB/DP since STAB makes it a lot more energy efficient (almost feels like a DP deals as much damage as a HB) but I think DB makes a Dragonite an agile and versatile attacker anyway.
If it's true that quick attacks are now more balanced (I don't know how that affects to the AI, tho), I personally have to say that Steel Wing sucks. It's just too bad against Water, Fire and Electric type Pokemons. I have 2 Dragonites. Other one with DB/DC, other one with SW/DP. I have placed both of my Dragonites to the gym many times and it's funny how DB/DC one has 4 wins and SW DP one 0 wins. Yeah, that tells nothing, but something is clearly wrong..I blame SW. Or maybe it's because of 3 bar DC.
I think SW/DC is a great defensive moveset. I'm not saying it is better than DT, but it is effective against his common ice counters. It is also effective against Tyranitar. Add to that the fact that the fact that DC is now a 3 bar charge move that gets spammed like BS on a Snorlax. Dragonite may have gotten a better moveset since the update but SW/DC got better than ever on defense.
