How is the game running for you now
As much as I like the friendship update, the game freezes up on me ALOT now. My phone has 4 GB RAM and it usually runs the game without a hitch. I never have issues with Community Day or Raid lag (at least when I solo). Now I seem to be getting a whole buffet of errors.
I'm wondering how the game runs on phones with 2 GB RAM now?

With S5 Mini (1.5GB RAM) its horrible.
Relogin is impossible, stuck at Loadscreen or instant Cant Connect.
Everytime i have to try to login with a other Accountinformation, then restart Game, Login with normal Accountinformation. Relogin works just sometimes if i quit the Game in the App and dont close its Window.
But ingame its kinda faster, pokemon Catch encounter is much faster, but 1 of 10 times Pokemon is under the Ground,it reappers but Touchscreen seems to be dead -> restart Game.
But the greatest improve was the change how to fire charge moves, before this i lost raids with good counters 5-10lvl higher than Guides recommend and wasnt even close to win.
To lose some seconds at the start of raids seems to be a luxuary problem. That animation and real position of a pokemon is not sync makes catching a legendary a real gamble. Just spray and pray ...
Using my old iphone, it freezes if pogo stay open for hours..
But in iphone it is quite easy, just clear ram when it start to sluggish
On my android with 3GB RAM, not so much only when i open friend feature mostly..
But battery usage become worst, i bought a device with 5000 MAh so i dont need to use powerbank like my iphone to play.
After friendship, for the first time it run out of juice when i play in weekend /holiday, ussualy around 5-6 hours..
It's been starting to lag really bad for me after leaving the app open for just a few minutes now. Don't know if it's something I did, or if the new update is causing it.
I'm on a Galaxy S7 and just got the Android 8.0 update around the same time as the friendship update. I'm constantly having to restart the game now and my phone has been getting hotter much quicker than before.
Also, I have noticed that my phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 4) became more sluggish. Also it feels like game is consuming battery power a bit faster. I don't know what's true. I can always blame Xiaomi system updates, or this new Pokemon GO update, but can't be sure where the problem lies. Or maybe my 1 year old phone just got too old...damn...
