How fair is it that "dangerous weather" shuts me down on a pretty mild day?

For an Indiana winter day, it's pretty darn mild. Not below zero, not snowing, freezing rain, windy. A nice night for Feb. But the raids got shut down early before i could get a Rayquaza and the hunting is slim cuz we have "dangerous conditions"??

Ok, well it is snowing now but whoop dee doo. So I don't live in San Diego or Miami. Still a nice night but I guess Niantic is worried I might get cold so I shouldn't be out? bs

I am not sure why Niantic need to baby players with this aspect of the game.
I am sure players in the local area can judge better if it is safe or not to go out and play a video game.

If it IS dangerous outside, and someone goes out to play a video game - it is not the developers fault, so I don't know why they need to treat players like moronic babies who can't make their own decicions about their own well being.

A player in the local area is better equipped to make that decision than some computer program thousands of km's away, in another country, basing the decision on second (or even third) hand information that is known to be notoriously unreliable.

But hey...they think the players are the ones making bad decisions.

Right. Just normal weather to me on the first day of the event. :(

The weather can not be trusted. I just hope that its windy during the Dratini event.

I just hope I'm allowed to participate. Wind + cold might be too "hazardous". I get the warning every other day lately and it limits spawns. Guess I'm supposed to hibernate or something.
