How to encounter Mew?

Is it by getting 8 stamps, which is obtainable once per day?

Or is it by completing all of the mystical tasks which is doable in 1 day?

All 8 stamps. Stamps have a date, so it would be logical to assume once you complete all Mythical Tasks for one stamp, you can start earning the next stamp.

You're wrong.

The stamps have nothing to do with Mew. You get it from special research by completing all 8 steps.

Also there are 7 stamps, not 8.

Mew is encountered once you've finished all 8 stages of the questline (the 8th stage being the Mew encounter itself). If you're dedicated, you can knock out the whole questline in a weekend.

Note: the stamps (of which you can earn one per day) are separate from the Mew questline and offer a different reward (legendary encounter)
