How does gym revamp not help tippy top only?

I guess my answer applies more to areas where spoofing hasn't overtaken everything... since I'm not sure I have any good answers for a lot of the issues people in that situation other than hoping the implementation or other measures take care of spoofing. (Luckily it hasn't been a big problem here...I've seen a few... bigger issue​ with multiple account users but still it feels mostly legit here)....I don't know your situation but I'm feeling fairly positive about today's news (despite not knowing if I will be able to participate in raids) so here's my take: Since the gyms are now first come first serve and u get coins based on how long your mon is in giving berries to other top players mons in front of yours is way more useful than getting in first with a lower​ CP how it was before. If u get in first or second with a weaker Mon those top players that got in later will also have a vested interest​ in keeping u there. Plus it's not like u have to give others your berries. I was wondering about the bag space too cause that bothers me too but I think sooner or later they will need to expand it. Maybe they already plan to and haven't announced it yet. Not everything they do is announced ahead of time.

You are missing the part where the existing berries are used to feed the Pokemon in the gyms.

Complaining about the new Golden Berry filling up your inventory is like complaining about Max Potions when we already have Hyper Potions.

I thought they also said you got stardust for feeding berries to other people's mons?

It sounds like they may have split it up so the owner of the mon in the gym gets the coins, but the berry-feeders get the dust.

They made more gyms to be in?

The less gym slots will somewhat be offset by the greater number of gyms. Quite a few pokestops in my area have now become gyms.
