How does Cacturne do in Alakazam raids?

I know there are far better DPS options, but since it has a Dark typing, I wonder how it works as an anchor in the real battle.

I guess not that good, probably only against psychic movesets with foggy weather.
It's neither fast nor tanky.
You could check pokebattler, at lvl35 it's a bit better than lvl 20 ttar

So that even a Dragonite is better?

Yes. Dragonite is better in time to win as well as power (total damage dealt).

And Dragonite isn't useful in soloing Alakazam which just shows how bad Cacturne is when it's got type advantage.

I've never had success with any Zam anchor other than Tyranitar.
Even against Focus Blast he seems to be the only tank thats slightly faster than the clock (if you dodge FB)

It would take ten level 35 Cacturnes with no weather and about 200s to win. So not good for soloing, but okay if you are doing it with one other player.
