How do i deal with pest pokemon?

They are getting more and more ridiculous the more i play.

Like 100CP Zigzagoon breaking free of a red ball without a shake then the second one catching it. Sometimes if you catch a pidgey or a magikarp with a great ball it will flee instantly without fail.

The worst ones are stuff like Murkrow and Aipom and i don't understand why they are this common even without the right weather, They are impossible to catch without burning berries and greats/ultras and the same goes for Bulbasaur in Cloudy or Sunny weather which are literally infesting.

Paras, Natu and Eevee are awful as well since you can throw anything at them and they will have a fat chance of breaking free and sometimes fleeing.

It's not a softban, but i just found it extremely annoying to interact with so many ridiculously hard to catch pest pokemon in higher levels.

How am i supposed to deal with this?

If Niantic really cares about balance, they should fix insane stuff like this first. It's a pain to curveball a 400 cp Eevee with a Great ball only to have it flee instantly.

I usually ignore Pokemon like Aipom or Murkrow unless they're under 200 CP since they have really low catch rates and don't evolve (meaning theyre only worth stardust).

High level Natu and Paras I will often ignore if I'm not swimming in Pokeballs, since their catch rates aren't extremely high. Eevees I tend to go for since they evolve quick and are very useful, but, like starters, Eevees have low catch rates, and are, to me, often worth a great ball and razz berry if they're mid to high CP.

This is my approach as well. With increased weather spawns, I don't indulge time-intensive trash Pokemon.

Murkrow has some value because:
1) Helps you get your dark badge for +3 (useful in Tyranitar raids).
2) Evolves in Gen4. Not sure how good the evolution is, but having some Murkrow candy around is good.

Once you get the dark badge, though, I'd stick to low CP ones, or really high to evolve eventually.

I only go after Murkrows if they're below CP100, or above CP1100. The rest I ignore. (Good ones evolve in a later generation).

But what really annoys me is when I try to catch a low level Pidgey (say, under CP200), and the dumb thing breaks out of the ball like 6 or 7 times before it remains caught - and that's with repeated 'great' curve balls!

You need to learn to throw curveballs. Look for videos about it on YouTube.
