How to counter Muk in Twilight Cup?

Hi all! I am boulding team for a SilphRoad Twilight Cup. And it seems that Muk is slightly OP for this cup: it has monstrous TDO (especially with legacy Lick) and no direct counters in Ghost, Dark and Fairy. Looks like only counter to Muk is Muk itself.

Or I am overlooking something?

You're overlooking the poison/dark mons such as skuntank, A-muk and Draipon. They resist Muk moves and can deliver neutral damage with dark attacks. I'm pretty sure Umbreon will also have better TDO, especially against lick.

I am checking it with Comprehensive DPS/TDO Spreadsheet.

Umbreon's TDO is 84 vs Muk's 88.

Skuntank's TDO is 50 vs Muk's 70

A-Muk - 70 vs 53

Drapion - 70 vs 55

Or this data are wrong, or Muk with Lick is just too strong.

It has plenty of counters. Umbreon out-TDOs Muk in neutral damage and the matchup against PJ Muk is a tie or close win for Umbreon depending on shield situation. Against Lick Umbreon has a significant advantage. All poison/dark boys and both Nidos win in any equal shields situation. K-Grimer wins or ties depending on shields. Toxicroak wins with equal shields and ties or wins narrowly even if Muk has 1 more shield than Croak.

EDIT: Venomoth and Dustox also win in any equal shields situation and A-Ninetales wins if both have 1 or both have 2 shields. Source for everything pvpoke.com

Thanks, I will check pvpoke.com, but with data here all these counters fail to beat Muk with Lick and Durk Pulse and Sludge Wave if comparing TDO against each other.

Neutral TDO doesn't tell much if there are type effectiveness factors in play. DPS/TDO can only compare neutral damage, you can't deduce most matchup results from just that, and it doesn't take shielding etc. into account at all. Pvpoke and Pokebattler are good sources of simulation data that can tell you a much more accurate story of matchup results. Umbreon resisting Lick makes a world of difference and the same is true for all the dark-poison boys. Dark Pulse is good against the Nidos, but pretty much only good against them, and they still beat Muk handily if they can land an unshielded Earthquake. I'd probably be running Thunder Punch instead of Dark Pulse because it's spammable and punishes Tentacruel, Golbat and Crobat, matchups that might be tough otherwise.

Also, DPS/TDO is showing Muk at 55.7 to me, with PJ/TP being the best neutral moveset.
