How to catch Golbat?

Take off your screen protector if you have one on. They fly much further without it.

If you don't have one on, throw from a bottom corner to opposite top corner while spinning for most distance.

you can also try this: hold the ball a slide it to the center. now move it back down and then throw fast. works on Dragonite

use the tip of your finger and your fingernail to throw, flick your finger at the end of the swipe. works well for me along with what the others have posted.

Configure ur smartphone to "one hand mode" then your balls will fly much more far since the screen will be small. I just set for when i press "Home" twice my ZenFone 2 automatically go to "One Hand Mode" so i can easily catch Dragonites, Zulbats, Golbats and every far poke. After i caught i just press "Home" twice again and the screen back to the normal size.

What ive noticed is that you need to follow thru with your arm as you throw the pokeball. An exaggerated motion with you arm helps alot. The way the ball mechanics work is that the ball must be accelerating as you release it, if you hand is de-accelerating then the ball will not throw as far.

Use the 6 throw. Start in the middle and draw a 6 (or backwards 6) end at the top left/right of your screen.
