how bad is blissey's worst?

just hatched a 96 iv chansey 14 A/15 D/14 S and i evolved it and unfortunately got pound/ psychic... i will probably level it up to its max for my level but just wondering so i'm not guilty when i put it in a gym.... how bad is this defensive moveset???

It's better than any other non Blissey mon with any moveset currently.

So use that info as you wish.

Exactly - and having that 15 Atk IV means it'll level up high enough to be really useful in gyms.

There really isn't a "bad" Blissey with those IVs - great investment regardless of moveset. Pound at least gets STAB, and Psychic is hard to dodge, so Blissey will be a decent nuisance and deterrent when you power her up.

It has 14 attack*!

It is still a better defender than anything else in the game

Two times better than a snorlax with ZH and Body Slam according to PokeBattler.

Although it is the worst moveset, it can still time out most players without good moveset Machamps at the max level.

(not me, I just remembered it, but not who originally posted it.

Species > moveset > CP > IV

Bad enough that the attacker doesn't need to worry about dodging as much; good enough that it still takes an annoying amount of time.

Psychic, from my experience, is much more likely to catch me off guard especially when coupled with pound as I have the same mentality of not dodging the quick move

As someone who attacks Blissey mainly with Machamp, I hate Psychic. Hits really fast and does SE damage.

I think P/DG and P/P will be the movesets to have once PvP is released; HB is dodgable, ZH is easier to dodge of the two sets, and psychic hits faster than JHVS's baby making

My only blissey has this move set, and she still stays in gyms for weeks at a time. Personally I think a high CP with a blissey (better then 2600CP) is enough for most people to take a pass on trying to take down a gym since one can always find easier prey. Downside with that move set is I've found I can take down a low CP p/p blissey with just a exeggutor with solar beam. On my 2719 CP blissey, not so much.
