Depends on what you want it for, as a generalist attacker, if you don't have something better you need MS/SE, as a ground type attacker, MS/E is what you need, and as a defender, rhydon is awful, but it has high CP, so if you don't have a better defender with high CP (Blissey, Snorlax and to a lesser extent dragonite), AND you don't mind putting a high CP bad defender in gyms just so you don't get kicked out first, then go for it, the moveset doesn't matter.

How about a ms/e Rhydon?
The only question, the difference with SE is big? I evolved one and got this movesets. lvl 24, 89%. Or can anybody send me the old post link maybe?
Worth to power up to 30? Thanks ^^

i agree with above post, but i maxed out my MS/E rhydon to 35.5Lvl. just anecdotally, and i'm not sure how, but my MS/E rhydon has "Battles Won: 1", even though I know its moveset is subpar relative to MS/SE. maybe it's because its CP is so high (3048) that the player's sixth pokemon just happened to die while fighting my rhydon near the top of the gym? either way, yes rhydon is an absolutely horrible defender, but if you have the dust and candies to do so, it is a very useful 'mon to get you high placement in gyms if maxed out....
