Hitmonchan Solo Accomplished

Did my first Hitmonchan raid on the last day of this event. Challenged myself in a Cloudy weather but still won with 25s left. Thought it would be a much harder one.

My team is made up with a (ADS) 15914 level 32 Zam, a maxed 141415 Zam, a maxed perfect Espeon, a PC/SB level 39 151511 M2 and level 37 151410 C/DZ Gardevoir. The boss has double fighting moves, both boosted by the weather. But all my mons can still stand at least one CC and release 2 Future Sight or more 2 par moves. Plus, Gardevoir's DZ is also boosted in the weather which makes the boss a easy kill.

Hitmonchan Solo raid is a tough cookie, and only certain kind of teams can defeat it. In my case, I managed to beat it weather boosted and everything. It had Counter/Close Combat too. My team was:

91% Mewtwo (15/14/12, level 38) Confusion/Psychic
89% Mewtwo (14/14/12, level 30) Psycho cut/Shadow Ball
100% Espeon (15/15/15, level 40) Confusion/Future Sight
98% Espeon (15/15/14, level 40) Confusion/ Future Sight
100% Alakazam (15/15/15, level 40) Confusion/ Future Sight
91% Lugia (14/12/15, level 37) Extrasensory/Future Sight

My afterthoughts: Tough raid! My main mistake was sending a Shadow Ball Mewtwo against Hitmonchan. Despite being resistant to both Hitmonchan's moves that charged move costs me time in that raid (Like 10~15 seconds, or so). All in all, it was a fun raid.

With the help of a Psychic M2 I guess you can switch your Zam with your 2nd M2. That way it could be much faster. In my case my SB M2 is at level 39. Although no super effectiveness it still deals lots of damage, especially its resistance to Fighting plus the Cloudy weather allow it to release many many SBs.
