So I have couple of the lee and Chan brothers, in case the trade becomes a reality ( personally I hope not ) , would they have a value or should I get rid of them and free some space

Don't think so - not unless there's a further evolution coming that makes them relevant. They're just dex entries now....

There won't be any further evolutions, but they're actually great Snorlax prestigers - not just dex entries.

The once I have sadly is either below the cp range or don't have double fight

Then nope, without a double Fighting moveset they're useless indeed.

Hitmontop is pretty rare, but Lee and Chan are primarily Snorlax and Tyranitar prestigers.

Caught one evolved one saw it on radar more than once , am the king of unnecessary rares ( areodactyle , onix , sunflora ) all have lots of them but no real use for any , would trade for a lapras tho

Hatched a 100% Tyroge. Evolved into Hitmontop. Would have maxed it would with c/cc. Unfortunately c/se. . . useless.
