Heracross question

I was lucky enough to catch an 82% Heracross in Florida. I don't have many candies but I just discovered it only takes 3km to get a candy. Is it worth walking and eventually leveling this pokemon? I know fighting pokemon are some of the best right now.

Also moves are counter/earthquake, so I would likely need to use a charged TM on him.

I have a c/cc heracross and he is pretty great. But he is just a lesser machamp. He is weaker and he cant take a stone edge.

Do you think he would be better built as a fighting pokemon? Or a bug? Is struggle bug/megahorn any better?

I would power him up simply for the novelty. He's not as good as machamp but is still pretty good.

He hit as hard as a machamp with the same moveset, champ only outclasses him because of the pure fighting tipe, witch put him far ahead on the ttar combat, and DP, that is better than CC.

I have an 84 with C/CC and have been walking her. I toss her in the lineup in the middle of Machamps for something interesting. Good against T-Tar and Snorlax.
