Help Please: Stuck on Step 2/8 of Celebi Quest

I have been stuck on Day 2 of Catch Pokémon 3 Days In a Row since Tuesday, 8/21 (3 days). Wife did everything same as me and she finished that task yesterday, 8/22, and is now on step 4/8. I catch at least 50 ‘mon per day.

Anyone else have this “ripple in time” problem of being stuck on Day 2 of this task? Kinda frustrated that Wife and the rest of the world are getting ahead of me.

I restarted/re-installed app. Out of frustration, I tried the time-zone trick (first time ever) and that did not work. Anyone have other suggestions other than waiting until tomorrow to see if I am still on Day 2 for the fourth day in a row? Thanks!

Thank you! Appears to be a known bug.

Article mentions that the Go Plus might increase the chance this will happen. I do not use Go Plus, but do use an Apple Watch with the PoGo app. Don’t know if that is relevant.

Any other places this is being discussed?

I am having the same problem. tried everything posted in other chats and nothing has worked. Niantic is not responding - posted to twitter and sent them an error report. you think it has been long enough that people are having this problem that they would respond. anyone have any idea????

My fiance is having the same exact issues and has tried everything you have plus hatched several eggs/stopped using go+. Nothing has worked yet.

I’m on day 6 of 2/3. I feel your pain. I wish they’d acknowledge the issue.

Boo! Problem NOT corrected with IOS app update. On 6th day of being Day 2 of 3 of quest.

Anyone have solutions or ways they resolved problem?

Have never used Go Plus, so is there any reason to think trying one might get me to day 3? Thanks!

Exact same issue here. VERY FRUSTRATED.

I have the same problem. On day 2 I switched timezones, one hour difference. Maybe that is the cause.

Has anyone tried to not catch a pokemon for a day to get a reset?

Today I’m not catching any Pokémon so I’ll reset the counter and for the next 3 days I’m trying to see what’s happen. It’s very frustrating since everyone can do it without a problem and Niantic seems doing nothing (since the last update didn’t solve the problem).
