Help choosing between very similar Rayquazas

I have no particular opinion, but others here discussed a Rayquaza at 40 has the exact same final HP whether 14s or 15s.

I'd go for A. The one hp you would miss compared to B is not a big deal, while you might reach a bulk point that you couldn't do with 14def

At this point it's just splitting hairs but the difference between 13 and 15 stamina IV is only 1 HP which will rarely make a difference (most of the time you'll get overkilled) and best case scenario is that you get one extra Outrage before fainting from having 1 extra HP.

And that's only if the 15 defence doesn't make a difference to charge move damage, which it most likely will because of Rayquaza's relatively low defence and charge moves have higher damage values - if the 15 defence lowers damage by 1 then it has the same survivability as the one with +1 stamina but -1 defence IV.

However if the 15 defence results in a defensive quick move breakpoint that 14 defence cannot reach, the difference is greater than +1 HP because you're reducing damage from every quick move by 1, effectively giving you +1 HP every time you take a hit which could mean 2 or even 3 more Outrage uses.
