Have you ever caught the same Pokemon twice?
I was out a few weeks ago and an Eevee popped up along with some other random Pokemon. I do love me some Eevees so that one was the first one I tapped on. A nice 707 cp, raz+ultra+curve and it goes in on the first ball. The map pops back up and there is an Eevee in what looks like the same spot. Tap on it and another 707. Caught it and moved on. I get back home and appraise them. Both 707 cp level 26 and identical IV 15/13/15. Two very nice Eevees which I am saving for Gen 2. Has anyone else seen this?

It shouldn't be possible to catch the same mon twice, as it would give you an error when tapping on it the second time. But pseudo-random number generator abnormalities do happen so it's more likely that two identical Eevees spawned there.
For example, I hatched two identical Hitmonlees (attack, defense, stamina, moveset) in a row. Twice. Two pairs of "cloned" Hitmonlees out of the EIGHT I hatched. Hopefully no more ever to come.
